People with communication impairments can use VoiSec as a ready-to-use tool at home or when they are out and about. VoiSecs can be arranged, attached and worn in various ways. VoiSec is designed to let the user decide.
VoiSec is designed to be used in different ways by people with different needs and preferences but one thing in common: they benefit from using a small talking device.
People with speech impairments can use several VoiSecs prepared with the spoken messages expected to be needed. The 70-second recording time allows long phrases and complex explanations as well as shorter replies to common questions.
The button is small enough that multiple VoiSecs can be arranged in portable answering machines, easily played by pressing the lid. Mark the flat top in different ways to visually distinguish between different buttons.
VoiSec’s versatility makes it ideal for many cases of augmentative and alternative communication. Combine with images and text, arrange into sets for general or special purposes, etc.
The ease-of-use makes VoiSec suitable for persons with limited physical or mental abilities. There are no switches to fiddle with. The entire lid is a play button and can be pressed with a hand, elbow, foot or tool. In many cases, a set of Singlemessage VoiSecs is a better option than a complicated multi-message device.
A variety of accessories for wearing or attaching VoiSec are available. Libego is also developing new accessory products, further expanding the possibilities of VoiSec.
